- Walk in clean socks, not shoes or bare feet, while it’s damp.
- Take care where damp carpet meets hard floors.

What carpet cleaning method do you use?
Hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning. After a thorough vacuuming and treating stains and high-traffic areas, we use hot water and eco-friendly solutions to flush embedded dirt, stains, odors and allergens out of the fibers, then extract them. It’s our deepest clean, and it’s gentle on your carpet.
Should I just rent a carpet cleaner?
You can, but you’ll be hauling a machine home and doing the work yourself. When we clean, we bring more than 15 years of experience to the whole job: a thorough vacuuming, treating stains and high-traffic areas, hot water extraction with eco-friendly solutions, and a groomed finish. And we’ll tell you straight what to expect before we start.
How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
We recommend a professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months, depending on how much soil your carpets see. Busy homes, especially with pets or kids, do best toward the shorter end, and regular vacuuming in between helps too.
Do stairs and hallways need extra attention?
Often, yes. They carry the most foot traffic in most homes, so they tend to show dirt and wear first. We treat high-traffic areas before the main clean, and stairs, landings and hallways are all part of what we clean. Between cleanings, vacuum them a little more often than the rest of the house.
How long will my carpet take to dry?
It depends on your carpet, the weather and the airflow in your home, and we’ll let you know what to expect before we start. Running your AC, ceiling fans or HVAC fan helps it dry faster. Until it’s dry, walk on it in clean socks and keep pets off. See more aftercare tips.
Can you get out every stain?
We get out a lot, including major stains like wine, and we’ll always tell you straight what to expect before we start. Some marks, like bleach spots and burns, change the fiber itself, so cleaning can’t fully undo them. If something won’t come out, you’ll hear it from us up front.
Are your cleaning solutions family friendly?
Yes. We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions, and our process is gentle yet effective and family friendly. Just keep little ones and pets off the carpet until it’s dry.
Should I add carpet protector?
It’s optional. After cleaning, we can apply a protectant that helps your carpet resist spills and soil, so it stays cleaner between cleanings and your investment lasts longer. Ask about it when we confirm your price.
Can a carpet cleaning help me get my security deposit back?
It can help, but your deposit is up to your landlord, so we can’t promise it. We do move-out and move-in cleans for renters and landlords, and we’ll tell you honestly what will and won’t come out before we start, so there are no surprises at the walk-through.
